Information We Collect

When you use Away Team, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and profile photo (via Google Sign-In). We also collect trip data you create, including itineraries, activities, bookings, and checklist items.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve Away Team. Specifically, we use it to: authenticate your account, store and sync your trip data, enable collaboration with your travel group, and improve our service.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Trip data is shared only with users you explicitly invite to your trips. We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for data storage and authentication.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account or specific data at any time. The deletion page explains both paths — account deletion and data-only deletion — including what is removed, what is retained, and for how long.
